about

summer 1992
(originally self-produced and self-released by The Nudists on the tape "Live @ Lou's", summer 1992)

The Nudists represent nothing less than the birth of Towson-Glen Arm, a genesis which occurred in summer 1992 when this wild group of teen visionaries got together in a Towson basement to create a body of work that combined avant garde music, absurd performance art, political activism, and their own invented language of inside jokes and irreverent humor. Dave Willemain, Lou Thomas, Bob Phair, Spence Holman, Chris Teret, and Alicia Rabins were the ones responsible for this monumental conception... - Mike Apichella (note: a much longer version of this article is featured in the 40 pg. booklet which accompanies the cassette version of Towson-Glen Arm Freakouts.)
