Originally recorded sometime in the early 1990's (originally released by Jon Woodstock on the various artists compilation "Bomb", July 1994, produced by Jon Woodstock)
personell: Hubcap aka Jon Woodstock - accoustic guitar;
unknown - drums/percussion
...The accoustic guitar instrumental 'Girls Smell Good' was one of the earliest songs written by the legendary artist Jon Woodstock and it was done under his psuedonym Hubcap, a name Woodstock created in tribute to the lyric "Drink my coffee with a hubcap!" from the Beck song 'Fuckin With My Head (Mountain Dew Rock)'...
A surprisingly upbeat, playful composition, this track is just as innovative and mystical as Hubcap's other works despite lacking the haunted atmosphere that defined many of the artist's subsequent songs.

(more info. on Hubcap can be found in the 40 pg. booklet which accompanies the cassette version of Towson-Glen Arm Freakouts)
Profits from the individual downloads of this track will go directly to fund the education of the late Jon Woodstock's daughter Penny Woodstock:
