about

spring 1995
(originally released on Glorious Fourlane's self-titled tape, issued by Craig Jakubowski, summer 1995; later reissued by Full Tilt Distribution, winter 1996; produced by Glorious Fourlane)
personell: Shawn Phase - guitar, homemade osciallator
Eli Jones - guitar, drums

Glorious Fourlane was the name of a duo that included Eli Jones and Shawn Phase - two of the most technically proficient and versatile musicians in the scene... their mutual love for complex music theory and sound engineering inspired them to begin collaboratively writing, performing, and producing compositions that represented a set of influences and ideas more diverse than that of any other Towson-Glen Arm music project. (More info on Glorious Fourlane can be found in the 40 pg. booklet of track notes which accompanies the double tape version of towson-Glen Arm Freakouts.)
